Flood coverage rates expected to keep rising

Residential property owners who have flood insurance likely will see their premiums increase an average of 6 percent to 7 percent next year. Flood map revisions in 2014 expanded to include areas on the west side of Waimalu Stream, a zone along Halawa Stream and Kawainui Marsh near Coconut Grove.
