Gov. David Ige, left, and Adm. Harry Harris, commander of U.S. Pacific Command, joined Korean Consul General Walter K. Paik in celebrating the 4,348th National Day and 68th Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Korea on Wednesday at Kapiolani Community College. Ige told the party guests of the many contributions Koreans have made to Hawaii. Harris described the solidarity of U.S. and Korean forces in responding to provocations from North Korea.
