Police arrested a 22-year-old Salt Lake man who allegedly robbed a 44-year-old man Sunday night in Kalihi.
Police said the man was armed with a dangerous instrument, but did not describe what that was.
He threatened the older man with the instrument during the robbery, which occurred at 8:15 p.m., police said. Police arrested the man at 8:32 p.m. on suspicion of first-degree robbery and on a $20,000 probation violation warrant.
Suspect arrested after assault on woman
Police on Sunday arrested a 26-year-old man who allegedly confronted and assaulted a 33-year-old woman in Kunia while she was at work.
During the assault, a passer-by stopped his vehicle and tried to intervene, police said. The suspect then allegedly assaulted the 21-year-old good Samaritan, got into a vehicle and then allegedly tried to hit him with the vehicle.
Police said the woman has a temporary restraining order against the suspect.
The assaults began at about 8:45 p.m.
Police arrested the 26-year-old man about a half-hour later on suspicion of second-degree assault, felony abuse, TRO violation, contempt, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, first-degree terroristic threatening and unauthorized control of a motor vehicle.
Makaha resident charged in stabbing
A 20-year-old Makaha woman was charged with assault last week after she allegedly stabbed a companion during an argument.
Temari Wilson was charged with second-degree assault and first-degree terroristic threatening Friday following an argument that ended with a 23-year-old man taken to the hospital with stab wounds.
Emergency Medical Services said paramedics treated the victim at about 10 a.m. Thursday at a home near Lahaina and Manuku streets in Makaha. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition with a stab wound to the stomach.
Police said the 20-year-old suspect was arguing with the victim when she stabbed him and fled. She was arrested at her home on Lahaina Street.
The case was initially classified as a second-degree attempted murder.
