The Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Today section enters a new tomorrow — starting tomorrow — with an updated daily format culminating in the launch of the Star Sunday magazine, featuring news and features on home and garden, health and fitness, family, fashion, books, arts and entertainment. You’ll find all of your favorite puzzles and columns, including Wayne Harada’s Show Biz, Jeff Chung’s K-Drama, Jim Miller’s Savvy Senior, Mindy Pennybacker’s In the Lineup and Bob Sigall’s Rearview Mirror, which is relocating from the Business pages.
Plus, the ever-popular 5 Things We Love, Garden Party, Island Lookbook and other regular features and brand-new columns spotlighting Hawaii’s buzz-worthy people, places and things.
Readers will still get their daily dose of fun and challenging puzzles in the new Detours section published Monday through Saturday — replacing the Today section — and home to the New York Times crossword, Jumble, Super Quiz, Word Game and other brainteasers, along with Frank Stewart’s bridge column, Carolyn Hax’s advice column, the prime-time TV grid and the usual comics lineup.
Friday’s movie reviews are moving to TGIF to provide a complete, one-stop resource for information on isle entertainment and family fun.
Catch the rising Star on Sunday, and in the meantime, feast on the Crave food magazine on Wednesdays and TGIF, The Great Index to Fun, on Fridays in the Star-Advertiser.
