Honolulu police arrested a 52-year-old woman in an attempted-murder case in Kailua.
Police said the woman used a “dangerous instrument” to cause property damage and injury to a 30-year-old man.
Officers arrested the Kaneohe woman at a home on Kuulei Road at 8:40 a.m. Friday on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder and for allegedly violating a warning in a domestic abuse case.
Male suspect is sought in Kalihi robbery
Honolulu police are looking for a man who used a weapon to rob two other men in a residential neighborhood of Kalihi.
Police said the suspect brandished a “dangerous instrument,” demanded property and searched the car of a 35-year-old man before fleeing the scene.
The incident happened at about noon Friday at an unspecified location.
2 injured after car crashes through railing
Two people were injured Friday afternoon when the vehicle they were riding in crashed through a railing on Hunakai Street near Waialae Avenue and landed in a ditch 10 feet below.
A 76-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were transported to a local trauma center, both in serious condition.
