It’s not every day people have a brush with fame. Such occurrences are rare and random, but Nordstrom is making it easier by welcoming Jessica Alba to the Ala Moana Center store on Saturday.
The actress, who recently starred with Jason Statham in “Mechanic: Resurrection,” will be representing The Honest Co., which she started in 2012 to focus on nontoxic products for the home. She currently serves as its chief creative officer.
Among products the brand is known for is the Dreamy Lavender Bathtime Gift Set ($49.99). Shoppers who make a qualifying Honest purchase of $50 or more will have the opportunity to meet Alba between 3 and 4 p.m. They will also receive an exclusive Honest vegan leather clutch as a gift with purchase, at one per customer while supplies last.
The event will take place in Kids’ Wear, on the third level of Nordstrom. For information, call 953-6100.
