The Board of Water Supply Federal Credit Union merged with Hawaiian Tel Federal Credit Union on Thursday.
BWSFCU, which has 1,068 members and $15 million in assets, was chartered in 1938 to serve Board of Water Supply employees and their families. BWSFCU members will be able to use Hawaiian Tel FCU’s larger network of 10 branches, five of which are in-store Wal-Mart branches. Hawaiian Tel FCU has 54,837 members and $579 million in assets.
Auto lunch offers Alfa Romeo news
Dan Devaney of the Hawaii Alfa Romeo Club will be the featured speaker at noon Monday at the monthly Auto Lunch Bunch at the Waikiki Yacht Club at 1599 Ala Moana Blvd. He will talk about the reopening of the Alfa Romeo dealership in Honolulu at Velocity and new models that will be offered.

ON THE MOVE
The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement has announced that Danielle Kuaiwa Chavez has been appointed to a CNHA Policy Center Next Generation Leadership program’s fellowship, which will be for two years. She is employed by THI, a hiring contract staffing firm in Anchorage, Alaska. Chavez is from Waianae but has spent 12 years in Anchorage.
Graham Builders President Evan Fujimoto will be sworn in Wednesday as president of the Building Industry Association of Hawaii board for the 2017 term. The event will be held at the BIA-Hawaii Installation Banquet. Fujimoto has worked for Graham Builders since 1993, when he first served as a project manager.
