While sightseeing in Yongan, Myanmar — formerly Rangoon, Burma — in January, Aubin Stremler of Aiea stopped by for a drink at Hawaii Kitchen. The newly refurbished Hawaii Kitchen restaurant in downtown Yongan features an extensive menu of rice and noodle dishes, along with fresh fruit juices. After several days sight-seeing in the capital, Aubin joined a 15-day tour of Myanmar’s beautiful countryside. His photo was taken by an employee of the restaurant.
