A man was stabbed in Kaneohe on Saturday evening.
Emergency medical personnel reported responding at 11:37 p.m. to 45-1120 Makamae St.
The 38-year-old man was treated by paramedics for wounds to the torso.
Paramedics transported the victim in serious condition to a hospital. The incident took place at approximately 11 p.m.
6 occupants escape house fire unharmed
The Honolulu Fire Department extinguished a fire at a two-story single-family home in Waianae on Sunday.
The Fire Department responded to a two-alarm building fire on Old Government Road in Waianae at 2:22 p.m.
HFD reported that all six occupants escaped the home without injury. Four pets were found dead in the fire.
The fire was brought under control at 2:47 p.m. HFD said the fire is under investigation. The department did not release damage estimates.
Electrical problem forces closing of road
The Honolulu Fire Department temporarily closed Hobron Lane in Waikiki due to an electrical problem Sunday.
Hawaiian Electric Co. said the problem was due to a underground cable fault. HECO crews responded to make repairs at about 7 p.m.
HECO said only the nearby ABC Store was affected, with no residential customers losing power.
HPD reported closing Hobron Lane in both directions from Ala Moana Boulevard to Kaioo Drive at approximately 6 p.m. and reopened the road within an hour.
