Honolulu police are looking for a 33-year-old man in connection with a stabbing Friday in Kalihi. Police said a 41-year-old man was stabbed at about 8:40 p.m. during an argument at an address near Fort Shafter’s Patch Gate.
The city’s Emergency Medical Services said an ambulance crew responded to a Meyers Street address where they found the 41-year-old man with a stab wound to the upper right portion of his body. The ambulance transported the man in serious condition to The Queen’s Medical Center.
Police opened an attempted-murder investigation.
Police seek information on hit-and-run
Police are asking anyone with information about a hit-and-run accident involving a car and a moped in Kalihi early Saturday to call the Honolulu Police Department’s Traffic Division.
They said a 24-year-old Honolulu man told them he was riding his moped west on North School Street in Kalihi at about 2:55 a.m. when a white car traveling in the opposite direction turned left and hit him at the Kamehameha IV Road intersection. The man was taken by ambulance to an area hospital in serious condition. He told police he last saw the car traveling north on Kamehameha IV Road.

Woman critically hurt in car accident
A traffic incident on the Likelike Highway left a woman in critical condition Saturday.
According to an Emergency Medical Services report, the woman, believed to be in her 20s, suffered multiple injuries when she was apparently ejected from a car traveling in the Kaneohe-bound lanes.
The incident was reported around 8:10 p.m.
The woman was transported to a local trauma center.
No further details were available.
Hikers airlifted in Kailua and Pearl City
The Honolulu Fire Department’s Air 1 helicopter airlifted injured hikers off trails on Oahu Saturday in two separate incidents.
The first incident started with a call at 7:11 a.m. of an injured hiker on the Kailua Pillbox Trail above Lanikai. Air 1 picked up a 22-year-old man and dropped him off at Lanikai Park, where a city ambulance crew was waiting.
EMS said the ambulance transported the man to an area hospital in serious condition.
Air 1 responded to the second incident reported at 10:15 a.m. of an injured hiker on the Waimano Ridge Trail above Pearl City. The helicopter airlifted a 57-year-old woman who had fallen and slid 30 feet down a slope. An ambulance took the woman to a trauma center in serious condition.
