Vice President Mike Pence will touch down here at the tail end of a 10-day, four-nation tour focused on military and economic alliances, which is set to start on April 15.
He plans to meet with acting South Korean Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Indonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
On his way back to Washington, Pence is scheduled to visit the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor and meet with Pacific Command senior leadership. Here’s hoping he‘ll have time to also throw some shakas and enjoy a few talk story sessions with local military personnel and their families.
