Mililani alumna Angela Lee will make the second defense of her ONE atomweight world title in the headline bout of ONE Championship’s Dynasty of Heroes event on Friday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Lee (7-0), who will face challenger Istela Nunes, is fighting just 76 days after defending her belt with a third-round TKO of Jenny Huang in March.
The 20-year-old Lee earned her first TKO win after submitting the first five opponents she faced as a professional. She became the organization’s first 115-pound world champion when she won a decision against Mei Yamaguchi in May 2016 in her only fight to go the distance.
Nunes is 5-0 with two victories by knockout and won a split decision in her last bout against Yamaguchi in August 2016.
The event will be televised online at onefc.com beginning at 1 a.m. on Friday.
