Newly crowned undisputed UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway will appear at the Hawaii Fitness Expo to meet and greet fans on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
Holloway will be at the UFC Gym BJ Penn training area of the expo to take pictures and sign autographs.
The 25-year-old Waianae alumnus won his 11th consecutive fight in the UFC with a third-round TKO of Jose Aldo to unify the 145-pound title on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro.
The celebration of everything fitness is a three-day trade show and expo incorporating fitness competitions, interactive exercise areas and healthy food, according to a press release.
“If you’ve ever wanted to try something in the fitness world then this is your chance to get a great workout and have a great time for a very low cost,” event organizer Kyle Paredes said. “You can jump into the live group workouts, try our fitness challenges or speak one-on-one with a fitness expert. We have worked really hard to pack as much action as we can into this event.”
The event runs 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
