Manu O Ke Kai takes Hui Wa‘a AAA

Manu O Ke Kai won the AAA division of the Kalihi Kai Regatta on Saturday at Keehi Lagoon for its second straight victory in the Na ‘Ohana O Na Hui Wa‘a canoe paddling season.

Manu O Ke Kai scored 83 points, topping Na Keiki O Ka Mo‘i, which finished with 76. Kaneohe was third with 19.

I Mua’s 42 points edged Ka Mamalahoe Canoe Club’s 41 in the AA division. ‘Alapa Hoe came in third with 28 points.

Waikiki Beach Boys won the A division with 26 points, while Lahui O Ko‘olau placed second with 24 points. Kamehameha finished with 18 points to secure third place.
