New missile and new radar might gird isles

    There are two missile tracking ships in Honolulu Harbor. One is the big Pacific Tracker (farthest domes on the ship) on the Ewa side of Aloha Tower and other is Pacific Collector (closest domes on it), across the harbor (where the Super Ferry use to be) They both have a lot of big domes on them.

With growing concern over Hawaii’s potential vulnerability to North Korean ballistic missiles, plans are being fast-tracked for a new medium-­range radar here, while a Pentagon official confirmed that a new U.S. defensive missile being developed jointly with Japan could add a second layer of defense for the state.
