Add a little liquor to the dim sum experience at a tasting event June 29 at Yauatcha Waikiki.
Amy Bender of Kai Spirits will engineer the pairing of four cocktails with dim sum morsels in the session sponsored by Les Dames d’Escoffier, an organization of women in the food and beverage industry.
Drinks will be prepared by Tim Weigel, chief U.S. mixologist for Hakkasan Group, which owns the nine-restaurant Yauatcha chain.
The 5:30 p.m. tasting includes nine savory and three sweet Yauatcha specialties.
