12 UH water polo players make grade

The University of Hawaii placed 12 student-athletes on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-Academic Awards list, announced Monday.

Julia Barton, Sarah Logan and Taylor Molde were named to the Outstanding Category (GPA 3.71 to 4.00). Molde earned Outstanding status in each of her four seasons.

Femke Aan, Chloe Barr, Nikki-Marie Bell, Kayla Chang, Maartje Keuning, Danika Kotylak and Erika Pauley made the Superior List (GPA 3.41 to 3.70).

Paula Chillida and Ymane Hage qualified for the Excellent Category (GPA 3.20 to 3.40).

UH had a 3.16 cumulative GPA and was one of 44 programs nationally recognized with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
