A 30-year-old man was left in critical condition following a stabbing incident Saturday in Chinatown.
The incident was reported at 1:10 p.m. in the area of Maunakea and Kekaulike streets.
The man was taken to a local trauma center.
The assailant remains at large.
Passenger critical after fall from pickup truck
A 58-year-old man was critically injured Friday night after he apparently fell out of the back of a pickup truck in Kalihi.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in an area fronting 1600 Auiki St., according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
The man was treated by paramedics and taken in critical condition to a local trauma center.
Man who died after night diving identified
A 41-year-old man who died after he went night diving in Punaluu has been identified as Dusty William of Honolulu.
The cause of William’s death is still pending, according to the Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office.
William went diving with his friends about 100 yards off Punaluu Beach Park Tuesday night. He failed to return.
Honolulu firefighters responded at about 10:10 p.m. and conducted a ground and aerial search along the shoreline. The search was suspended at about 12:30 a.m. Firefighters had planned to resume their search at dawn Wednesday but at about 3 a.m., a bystander reported observing a body later identified as William near the mouth of Punaluu River.
