UFC Hall of Famer and former two-division world champion B.J. Penn weighed in at 146 pounds Saturday for his featherweight fight against Dennis Siver to open the main card of UFC Fight Night: Oklahoma City today.
The 38-year-old Penn (16-11-2, 12-10-2 UFC) is trying to end a four-fight losing streak against Siver (22-11, 11-8-1), who hasn’t fought in two years. Penn hasn’t won a fight since a TKO over Matt Hughes in November 2010, which was also the last time his fight wasn’t the main event of a card. Penn has headlined 16 of the past 17 UFC events he has participated in dating back to UFC 41 against Caol Uno in February 2003. Siver, who turned 38 in January, suffered back-to-back losses to Conor McGregor and Tatsuya Kawajiri in 2015. He also weighed in at 146 pounds.
The fight will be the first of six shown on Fox Sports 1 beginning at 3 p.m.
