As part of its relocation from Ward Warehouse to Aloha Tower, the Old Spaghetti Factory is putting up hundreds of furnishings, artwork, kitchenware and other items for online auction.
The auction, administered through Oahu Auctions and Liquidations, continues through 6 p.m. today.
Among the items up for bid are various shapes of hardwood tables with pedestal bases, wood-framed banquettes, Tiffany-style stained-glass chandeliers, a 7-foot carved dark-wood hutch, wrought-iron scrollwork railing sections, sets of matching wooden chairs, stainless-steel work tables and shelving units, a two-door ice cream freezer, a granite-marble-topped antique console table and many other items.
The restaurant, which had operated at Ward Warehouse for 38 years, is moving its most signature furnishings — including large-scale Tiffany-style chandeliers and full-scale rail-car trolley — to its new location.

Woman gets chance to thank personnel who saved her life
A little over a month since she suffered cardiac arrest while paddling to Nanakuli Beach Park, 64-year-old Luana Baker met with the first responders who helped save her life to say thank you.
The Waimanalo resident was on her way to a Father’s Day regatta at Nanakuli when she was stricken. Ocean Safety personnel from the Nanakuli Beach lifeguard tower performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Baker until Emergency Medical Services and Honolulu Fire Department personnel arrived and paramedics took over with advanced lifesaving treatment, according to OS and EMS spokeswoman Shayne Enright.
Baker has since made a full recovery, and on Saturday brought lunch to the OS and EMS crews who came to her rescue. She was joined by her mother and a friend.
The visit comes in advance of this week’s State of Hawaii Drowning Prevention and Ocean Safety Conference, being held Thursday and Friday at the Hawai‘i Convention Center.
