Oahu made quick work of its first opponent in the Babe Ruth 13u Pacific Southwest Regional in Vernal, Utah, on Wednesday, defeating Lompoc, Calif., 15-5 in six innings.
The game was called in the sixth inning due to the mercy rule. Kade Morihara led the way for Oahu, going 4-for-4 with three runs scored and four runs batted in. Oahu advanced to play Tri-Valley today.
