Tom Espe of Honolulu posed outside Pupu restaurant in Helsinki during a trip to Finland in May. In Hawaii you expect an array of bite-size appetizers at a pupu buffet. But pupu means “bunny” in Finnish, which is an amusing way of saying that the restaurant’s customers will eat like rabbits — salads only. The photo was taken by Jim Meskan of Honolulu.
