One of Kauai’s newest food-centric businesses is a dream for chocoholics.

Debbie and Mark Williamson, with business partner Kellie Lin Knott, opened Wild Kauai Chocolate, offering their own chocolate products, as well as chocolate “experiences,” such as tastings and classes.

The Williamsons moved to Kauai from Wisconsin, following Debbie’s dream of living in a place where cacao is grown. As the shop’s chocolatier, her goal is to use only Hawaii-grown cacao, but for now she is sourcing her beans from Ecuador.

The shop sells bars and a chocolate tea. Free samples are offered from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays to Fridays.
