Bank of Hawaii’s renovation of its main branch downtown will be unveiled Wednesday after five months of construction.
The face-lift represents the bank’s fourth Branch of Tomorrow and is part of Bankoh’s $100 million-plus renovation project. The renovated branch includes easy-deposit ATMs, Wi-Fi, tablets and digital screens, pairing greater customer convenience with personal interactions.
Bankoh’s flagship branch renovation at 111 King St. contains themes of the Hawaiian voyaging canoe. Some of the features at the branch are a large digital wall, a Welcome Wall with a map of Honolulu, a handcrafted canoe model, bronze relief artwork and a canoe paddle.
The grand-opening event will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with product giveaways that include HawaiianMiles bonus miles, gift cards and a chance to win $100,000 at the iHeart jackpot machine.
