The highly anticipated period movie, “The Fortress,” will be released in the U.S. on Oct. 20. Lee Byung-hun (“Bittersweet Life,” “Magnificent Seven,” “Terminator Genisys” and “Red 2”) leads the star-filled cast. The story is set in 1636, when the Manchu Qing Dynasty sends an invasion force of 150,000 troops into Korea to sever its ties to the Ming Dynasty.
The Korean court flees the capital to take shelter in the Namhan Fortress, located in treacherous mountains outside the city, according to a synopsis from CJ Entertainment. The Qing army, led by Gen. Yong Gol Dae, quickly surrounds the fortress, leaving the king and court stranded in a prolonged standoff.
Unable to escape or fight the enemy they are outnumbered by, the people inside the fortress start dying from cold and hunger. The king faces an impossible choice between protecting his people and standing up to those looking to destroy them.
No details are available on whether the movie will open in Hawaii.

>> Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Moo-young and his team find the key to the lock box hidden by Nam Kang-myung. Patriot Newspaper, Splash Team and the prosecutor’s office stake their reputation to get to the truth. Tae-won hands over Seo Hae-young’s photo and pressures Chief Im to take on a case.
“Into The World Again”

>> Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Hae-sung gets suspicious about the accident when he sees Park Dong-suk hang around Jung-won. Tae-hoon heads to the police, ready to confess, only to be stopped. Jung-won finds the video message left by Hae-sung.
>> Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Jung-won foregoes a good opportunity to spend more time with Hae-sung but is sad he doesn’t realize this. Min-joon sees this and feels sorry for them. Ho-bang finds solid evidence that will prove Hae-sung’s innocence.
“Band of Sisters”

>> Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Se-kyung finds out Dae-in and Sang-mi are the parents of Jae-il, whom she killed. She decides to end her art class. Unable to stand the sight of Deul-re, Kye-hwa asks Secretary Oh for a favor.
>> Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Ki-chan finds out Se-ra Park has been doing a background check on him. He decides to face her. Se-joon finds out what happened on the day of his grandmother’s accident.
