At left, Padovani’s boozy barrel-shaped chocolate is flavored with Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey. Owner and chocolatier Philippe Padovani, center, searches out high-end bourbons and cognacs to flavor his chocolates, then sells the empty bottles to collectors. The signature horse-and-jockey stoppers on Blaton’s Single Barrel Bourbon are particularly popular. The bottle carrier, right, is $75 with 12 chocolates; you provide a bottle of wine or other liquor.
