Retired Navy man James Temple, brother of Seaman 1st Class Robert Monroe Temple, salutes as his brother’s casket is presented during a reinterment ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl. The brother’s remains were recovered and interred at Punchbowl as Unknown, but in December 2015 were disinterred and taken to Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency laboratories for identification. The DPAA has made a record number of identifications this fiscal year.
