The Hawaii Pacific volleyball team picked up a PacWest conference road victory as it swept Academy of Art 25-15, 25-23, 25-19 on Wednesday in San Francisco.
The Sharks (7-10, 5-4 PacWest) were led by Perla Escobar’s game-high 13 kills and Kamehameha alum Mahea Pescaia’s 13 assists. Lilika Teu led the Urban Knights (4-12, 1-8) with a game-high 25 assists.

The Vulcans (8-8, 5-4 PacWest) were led by Siera Green’s game-high 15 kills, while Sierra Allen’s eight kills were a team high for the Hawks (0-17, 0-8).

Madison Witt paced the Lancers (17-0, 9-0), ranked sixth in NCAA Division II, with a game-high 14 kills and five digs, while Emma Tecklenburg and Kira Long led the Silverswords (9-8, 4-5) with nine kills each.
Hawaii Pacific soccer teams fall to Biola
The Hawaii Pacific men’s and women’s soccer teams dropped road matches to Biola in La Mirada, Calif.
In the men’s match, Jake Munivez scored in double overtime to lead the Hawks (5-5-1, 4-2 PacWest) to a 1-0 victory over the Sharks (4-5-2, 2-4-1).
In the women’s match, the Hawks improved to 7-2-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the PacWest after goals from Paula-Marie Labate and Samantha Verduzco sealed a 2-0 victory over the Sharks (6-5-1, 2-4-1).
