Waikiki eatery Herringbone is cleared to reopen

    Herringbone Waikiki, in the International Market Place, voluntarily closed Thursday after customers reported feeling sick. The restaurant was OK’d to open Friday by the state Department of Health after the place was cleaned and sanitized. The cause was reported to be norovirus.

At least 45 people became ill after dining at a popular Waikiki restaurant at the International Market Place, state Department of Health officials said Friday. Some of the cases have been confirmed as the norovirus. Read more
