Woman arrested in alleged murder attempt

Police arrested an 18-year-old woman Thursday on suspicion of attempted murder following an altercation between the suspect and another woman. The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. in Waialua.

According to police, the two women were involved in a physical confrontation when the victim, a 44-year-old woman, complained of difficulty breathing and lost consciousness. Police did not specify how the suspect contributed to the victim’s condition.
