A BEEFY BENEFIT
Order up the braised short ribs at Cattle Company Steakhouse in Pearl City and the restaurant chain will give $1 to No Kid Hungry, a nationwide effort to aid children in need.

The restaurant’s Season of Giving campaign applies to dine-in orders only and runs through Jan. 15.
The restaurant is at 98-1262 Kaahumanu St. (the strip mall with Times Supermarket). Call 487-0054.

CALLING ALL RESTAURANTS
The Hawaii Agricultural Foundation is on the hunt for new restaurants to join the 2018 Localicious Hawaii campaign, held in March.
Throughout that month, each participating restaurant donates a dollar from the sales of a menu item that features locally grown, caught or raised products.
The money goes toward ag- focused education programs in the schools.
The group hopes to sign up 300 Hawaii restaurants for next year’s campaign. The 2017 effort raised $50,000.
