The weekend drama “Breezy Love” ended last week. There was some confusion over a casting change during the season. The popular drama, also known as “Blow Breeze,” had to change out the actress playing its second female lead character, Shinae Park, a North Korean defector who was taken in by Mipoong and her family after her mother died of starvation.
Actress Ji-eun Oh, who played Park early on, hurt her ankle while filming the series and required surgery. She was replaced after Episode 12 by Soo-hyang Im, who finished the show.
It was surprising that during the last episode, there was some political innuendo when Jango’s grandmother talks about reunification of torn families between North and South Korea.
A period drama, “Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People” will start tonight.
