Janessa Manzano scored 15 points and Jessi Reeves finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Sharks (14-2, 8-1 PacWest).
The Cougars (18-3, 9-2) outscored the Sharks 27-17 in the fourth quarter and got within 71-69 with 20 seconds remaining. Lambrigtsen hit a free throw with 19 seconds left and another with two seconds remaining to seal it.
Abbigail Goodsell scored 15 points for Azusa Pacific.

Chaminade men get past Fresno Pacific
Justin Bridges scored 18 points and Brett Reed added 11 points and 18 rebounds as the Chaminade men’s basketball team defeated Fresno Pacific 89-78 on Thursday in Fresno, Calif.
Erik Scheive and Dantley Walker each added 14 points for the Silverswords (12-4, 7-2 PacWest).
Elijah Hill scored 15 points for the Sunbirds (5-15, 3-9).

The Hawks (8-12, 4-6 PacWest) led 53-35 early in the second half, but the Vulcans (4-11, 3-5) battled back to take a 77-73 lead with 3:28 left.
Holy Names’ Jacob Dean made a layup with 12 seconds left to send the game to overtime at 81-all.
The final points of overtime came on a jumper by Hilo’s Cleo Cain with 1:34 left. The Vulcans missed a pair of 3-pointers over the final 44 seconds.
