A new Marvel Cinematic Universe release now playing in local theaters, “Black Panther” contains a car chase scene that was filmed in Busan, South Korea, in March.

Directed by Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole, “Black Panther” stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther alongside Angela Bassett and Forest Whitaker. To film the chase scene, which involved over 100 cars and and 700 people, the production crew closed off Gwangali Beach in Busan at 8 p.m. They also filmed near the famous Jagalchi fish market Nampodong.

This is the second Marvel film to use South Korea as a filming location: “Avengers, Age of Ultron” was filmed in 2015 in Seoul.

The cast of “Black Panther” launched their international tour in Seoul on Feb. 5 to a large crowd that Boseman compared to a sold-out sporting event. The four main cast members all gave a photo opportunity with the trending heart sign using the thumb and index finger as popularized by K-pop celebrities.

>> Monday, 7:45 p.m.: Jong-sam is furious when Cheol-ki is hurt in his place. After a failed attempt at killing Jong-sam, Lee Kwang-ho schemes to eliminate him again. Prosecutor Kim holds a press conference to entrap Lee Kwang-ho.

Episodes 39-40 (finale)

>> Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Jong-sam and Lee Kwang-ho face off. Jong-sam tells him he wants Lee’s life. Lee Kwang-ho’s crime catches up to him. Will justice prevail?

“Splash Splash Love”

Part 1

>> Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Danbi avoids taking the College Scholastic Ability Test by traveling back in time to the Joseon era. She becomes the king’s eunuch and falls in love with him.

Part 2

>> Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: As Danbi inspires the king to reform the nation, she also goes through many hardships. Eventually she ends up returning to her own time, but is in for some surprises.

>> Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Dong-woo and everyone prepare to face RaRa’s last days. RaRa basks in her family’s love. Joon-ho asks for Hye-mi’s forgiveness. The whole family comes together as a real family. Will Do-na and Bum-woo tie the knot?
