ALOHA SECTION PGA GOLF TIP

COMMON SENSE PRACTICING
You probably have heard this golf tip many times before: “Practice your short game from 100 yards and in.” This is very true! However, I would like to expand on this and give you a very logical way of looking at things in hopes of simplifying matters in your practice routine.
The next time you play a round of golf, count the number of times you hit each club in your bag. Go through the entire round and record how many times you hit the driver, 3-wood, 5-wood, etc., all the way to your putter. Make sure all strokes have been recorded and study this chart carefully.
You will realize that you used the putter the most, followed by either the driver or wedges. The rest of the clubs will normally be used only a few times during each round.
It will become apparent that it makes common sense to spend more time practicing and concentrating on the clubs that you use the most!
