Thrina and Michael Barrett posed with Hoku owners Satu and Ryan Shibuya. The restaurant is located in the Kamppi shopping mall in Helsinki, Finland. Satu and former Pearl City resident Ryan moved to Satu’s home country of Finland eight years ago. After dining at the restaurant, the Barretts said: “The food is so, so ono at Hoku’s. Their teriyaki salmon is a top seller, but their oxtail adobo, spicy beef salad, and kalua pig and shrimp soup are so divinely delicious!”
