Hawaii Pacific University has received a $1 million donation from global businessman and HPU supporter Allen Zecha.
“I find students who graduate from Hawaii Pacific University to be confident and capable of thinking more broadly as they embark on professional endeavors,” Zecha said. “This is a direct reflection of the diverse and multicultural education they receive from HPU.”
HPU President John Gotanda said that during the past three decades Zecha has been aligned with HPU he has brought “remarkable change.”
“His philanthropic commitment to HPU leaves a legacy that allows us to help the university reach its highest potential, help our students reach their highest potential and change the lives of students for generations to come,” Gotanda said.
