Marshallese in Hawaii struggling with poverty, according to new report

    Department of Facility Maintenance workers posted notices about sidewalk nuisance and stored property enforcement in Kakaako on Sept. 1, 2015. The notices were be posted and distributed in Chuukese, English, Marshallese and Samoan. Pacific islanders have the highest unemployment rates and among the lowest per capita incomes, according to a report released this week by the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism.
