The Korean pop-up event KFest will be happening 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 22 at the Pomaikai Ballroom, with Korean food, K-pop merchandise and dancing, a ramen-eating contest and special performances, all to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii.
Nicki Lee and Stephanie Fujita are putting the event together through Kidz For A Cause, a nonprofit founded by Lee. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, and everyone in attendance will automatically be entered into a drawing for a trip for two to Korea.
“With all the great music and dancing and food and shopping and everything else, it’s perfect for families and people of all ages who want to have fun and support a great cause,” Lee said.
KBFD TV is the presenting sponsor of KFest. For more information, see kfesthawaii.com or call 388-7895.
