International fellow is inspired to bring aloha spirit to Ukraine

    “I think the most important thing is this aloha spirit that you have,” said Tetyana Simchuk, right, a Professional Fellow from the Ukraine under the auspices of the U.S. State Department, who worked in the city’s Office of Economic Development. She was making Memorial Day lei last week at Honolulu Hale along with Pauline Yang, a University of Hawaii student in travel industry management who is an intern in the same office.
