Hawaii’s Tatiana Weston-Webb and Malia Manuel finished second in their third-round heats today to advance to the quarterfinals of the Corona Bali Protected Women’s in Keramas, Bali, Indonesia.
Australia’s Tyler Wright won the first heat with a two-wave total of 14.93. Weston-Webb posted a 12.33 and Hawaii’s Coco Ho finished third with an 8.57.
Australia’s Sally Fitzgibbons won her heat with a 15.93. Manuel scored a 14.00 and Hawaii’s Carissa Moore finished third with a 13.83.
In the quarterfinals, Weston-Webb will surf against Australia’s Stephanie Gilmore and Manuel will compete against California’s Lakey Peterson.
