Family ties part of Manoa Cup history

    Brandan Kop, teeing off on the 14th hole during the Manoa Cup two years ago, figures his family history in the event goes back some 95 years. Kop’s grandfather, Guinea Kop, caddied for Francis I‘i Brown in the 1920s, when Brown won five of his nine Cups. Brandan has won four Manoa Cup titles, including back-to-back crowns in 1997 and 1998.

After Andy Okita won the Manoa Cup last year, he dedicated it to his late grandfather George Okita, the man who started him in golf. Read more
