Honolulu police arrested a work furlough inmate Friday who had failed to return as scheduled from a day pass earlier in the week.
Mark Cheshire, 41, was supposed to have returned to the Laumaka Work Furlough on Wednesday. He was located at an undisclosed location around 2 p.m. and arrested.

His parole had been approved and was pending a release date set by the parole chairman.
