Ex-sportscaster John Noland dies after assault in Chinatown

    Maunakea Liquor and Grocery employees were notified when John Noland was found unconscious on the ground next door. A homeless man, Mark A. Coleman, was arrested as a suspect in the assault. Frannie Tua took a break at Maunakea Liquor and Grocery on Thursday.

Longtime Honolulu sportscaster John Noland died Friday from injuries he sustained when he was assaulted in Chinatown last weekend, his daughter Alana Noland confirmed Friday evening. Read more
