Water shutdown needed for improvements

Customers along Kahiliholo Road in Kilauea will have their water service shut down for eight hours Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting, according to a notice from the Department of Water. The shutdown is necessary to install an emergency bypass line and conduct waterline improvements for the Kilauea water system. Those in the area are advised to have enough water on hand to get through the shutdown period. For more information, contact the Department of Water at 245-5461.
