The city is opening certain driver’s licensing centers and satellite city halls Saturday in an effort to assist those affected by Monday’s network system outage.
The driver’s licensing centers in Kapolei, Koolau, Kapalama and Wahiawa will be open from 8 a.m. to noon.
In addition, the satellite city halls at Hawaii Kai, Kapalama, Kapolei, Wahiawa and Waianae will be open from 8 a.m. to noon. The Ala Moana satellite city hall will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
No driver testing (road or written) or commercial driver’s license (CDL) services will be offered on Saturday.
The satellite city halls also offer motor vehicle registration and titling transactions; take bill payments; sell monthly bus passes; register bicycles and mopeds. They also issue dog licenses and disability parking placards, and handle voter registration. Some offer limited driver’s license renewal services.
Driver’s licensing centers offer driver’s license and state ID services.
