The Board of Water Supply restored water to customers after a water main broke Sunday in Waipahu, leaving a shopping center and many homes without water.
The 12-inch line broke near 94-066 Leolua St. before 6 a.m. Sunday, shutting off water to about 180 customers, including the Waipahu Town Center and some 160 apartment units on Leolua Street, the water supply said.
Water wagons were brought to the scene. Crews finished repairs about 4 p.m.
