The U.S. men’s national volleyball team, with former University of Hawaii hitter Kupono Fey on the roster, opened pool play at the Pan American Cup on Tuesday with a 25-21, 25-14, 26-24 win over Peru in Cordoba, Veracruz, Mexico.
Fey was used as a sub in Set 1 and started in Set 3. He finished with four kills, an ace and a dig.
The U.S. faces Puerto Rico today.
