Pearl Highlands Center is marking its 25th-anniversary year with a newly renovated food court, which, when fully open, will give diners on the Leeward side many more quick food options. It also gives moviegoers at the center’s Regal theater a place to hang out before or after screenings.
Joining L&G Local Food and SushiMan in Highlands Market are Il Gelato, Teapresso Bar and Jersey Mike’s Subs.
Il Gelato is known for its artisanal Italian ice cream, available in traditional flavors such as gianduia (chocolate-hazelnut) and Italian almond, as well as tropical flavors such as dragonfruit, and sorbettos such as mango and pineapple.
Jersey Mike’s offers a range of signature wraps and hot and cold sub sandwiches, including the classic Philly cheesesteak combining beef, grilled onions and peppers, and American cheese.
Slated to open through fall are Maui Tacos, Ming’s Canton Food, The Elephant Shack, Up Roll Cafe and more.
The center is at 1000 Kamehameha Highway in Pearl City.
