Are you ready to say aloha to democracy or to President Donald Trump?

Ever see a race horse cross the finish line ahead of the pack and be declared the winner and, moments later, the track announcer reports that the winner is disqualified because the jockey violated the rules of the race?

Something similar happened in America’s last presidential race, but the announcer has yet to report. Officials are investigating to see if Trump is disqualified for asking Russian enemy agents to help him win the election.

While this is under investigation, Trump shouldn’t have the authority to appoint a Supreme Court justice — especially Brett Kavanaugh, who doesn’t support women’s rights or gun safety legislation and said the president shouldn’t be investigated for wrongdoing.

If Kavanaugh is confirmed, we may be governed by a dictator and banana Republicans in Congress as Trump continues to violate the Constitution while enriching himself.
